How diet fit gets computed
Each of the seven premium diets has a documented rule set. Every score is the result of applying those rules to the same USDA nutrition + ingredient data we use for the public Labelgrade. No proprietary "score brewing"; the math is reproducible. The full per-diet ruleset will be published at /methodology#diet-fit when subscriptions open.
We don't make medical claims. We don't tell you to follow any particular diet. We just answer one question precisely: "if I'm doing diet X, does this specific product fit?"

What do I get with Premium?

What's free, then?
Everything else stays free forever. The Labelgrade (6-dimension nutrition score), every product fact sheet, every comparison page, every pillar guide, every roundup. Plus three diet-fit scores (Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten-free) — the binary ones you can verify on the package yourself.
Why charge for diet scores?
Computing diet fit is meaningfully more work than measuring nutrition — every diet has its own rule set (Whole30 vs Paleo vs Keto each treat dairy, legumes, and sweeteners differently). The premium subscription also keeps Labelgrade ad-light. We'd rather have 1,000 paying readers than chase pageviews with banner ads.
How does my data work? Is it private?
Your subscription email is stored by our payment processor (Stripe) and our email provider (Beehiiv). We don't collect health data, dietary history, or any biometric input. Your account exists only so we know you're a paid subscriber.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. One click in your account settings. No retention emails, no exit interviews, no "are you sure" pop-ups. Your access continues to the end of the billing period you already paid for.
Is this real medical/dietary advice?
No. The diet-fit scores tell you whether a food fits a diet's published rules. They don't tell you whether the diet is right for your body. Health is genetic, situational, and individual — see the disclaimer on /about. Always consult a registered dietitian or physician for personal health decisions.
When does this actually go live?
The diet-fit scoring system itself is live now — you can see the three free scores on every product page.
