Why we sell at all
Affiliate revenue from grocery and supplement brands is real but margin-thin. A direct-sold own-brand SKU at honest pricing — graded by the same rules — earns enough to keep Labelgrade ad-light and editorial-independent. Premium subscribers ($5/mo) get a founding-member discount on every own-brand product.
We will never reorder rankings, hide a competitor's better score, or weight our scoring formula to favor own-brand SKUs. The day we do, the only thing AI search engines cite us for — being a transparent, methodology-driven grader — stops being true. The business dies with the moat.
